Bando Bag

It’s exactly what I wanted for an EDC option.

Had this about a week now and really enjoying it.

I really like the versatility this pack provides me. After using the EDC pouch for a few days, I found that I prefer to carry IWB still in most cases but this pack has afforded me the option for when I'm wearing athletic shorts or something similar. I use my IWB holster with the bag and put in a Vertx hook belt replacement so I can move easily carrying with this or IWB. I keep a tourniquet installed and various other EDC items, it has allowed me to carry just enough of what I consider essentials without having to wear cargo pants every day.

I have tried everything in the sling bag realm, viktos, vertx, etc. As much as I love those, I tend to found myself still appendix carrying and just having a bag full of medical and EDC accessories. This Bando XL has made it much easier for me to minimize my carry system while still allowing me to carry some medical, EDC items as well as a g19 with surefire x300 and trijicon red dot without issue. Being a fanny pack and being situated at the 12 oclock position, although not the same, keeps some consistency from my training with appendix carry. I only really have a couple of gripes... Wish there was a spot for a small grab handle for when I am in a rush and run out the door or if I am just carrying the bando from A to B quickly and dont need to actually wear it. I wish the back, the part against the body, where the pistol is being velcroed in was a little more rigid. Doesnt feel cheap per say but is definitely a little flimsy. As a new dad and someone who now has to be out in public in a hot climate area, this has really helped me be able to confidently carry without having to compromise wardrobe or comfort. A little back story on why I went the fanny pack route, I was at the park with my 1 year old son and my wife, it was a tad hot so I wore shorts which I traditionally do not do. Due to that and not wanted to wear a sling bag because I would be walking a lot and likely carrying my son, I left my appendix rig and pistol at home. I spent 2 hours at the park, unarmed. I have never felt so vulnerable, especially with my family there. This product has been an amazing fix to that issue. I am an Eberlestock buyer for life now.

I just received my XL Bando bag, and with all Eberlestock products, it’s top top-notch. I am a larger frame man, 6’3” 235lb, so I ordered the XL bag. It fits me proportionally perfectly. It fits a large-frame firearm with no problem. I do have to check myself with packing the Bando bag as because of its size, I tend to overpack it! My EDC consents of Wallet, Credentials, Firearm, 2nd Magazine, cash, reading glasses, Leatherman, and a small flashlight. I keep my blades in my pockets for quick access. All in all, super satisfied with the XL Bando bag!

The bag is very well constructed. Just fits my Glock 19 perfectly with a little Velcro holster tucked in there. Then there’s still room for my phone, small wallet and keys. I really like the Bando Bag!
