Purchased this backpack for a 7-days trip on West Coast Trail and was absolutely happy about it. It doesn't hurt shoulders at all because it sits on your hips well. Lots of convenient pockets. One thing I didn't like though is missing hook for the water bladder. There is a mesh pocket instead which puts weight distribution a bit lower. It is not a light backpack.

This is a very well made bag. I ordered this bag because my Fiancé and I were getting married in the Canadian Rockies and we did our ceremony at the top of Mount Rundle. I packed my tuxedo, her wedding dress, my dress shoes, and all of our gear into my bag. It ended up weighing about 50ish lbs. and the hike was 3,000 feet of elevation gain in 1.5 miles to the top. This bag made 50lbs feel like 25lbs. It never shifted and stayed glued to my back even when scrambling up the rocks on our ascent. This is my first every Eberlestock purchase and I am a huge fan, we will be purchasing another one for my wife very soon. Highly Recommend!

Great pack quality build holds rifle on the sides

Top notch pack just trying to adjust the shoulders straps was hard .The fit was tight which in my opinion is good , haven’t loaded it up yet but rifle fits on the outside in side pockets. This is my 5 bag at this rate I can open a store, lol! But rel quality stuff thank you Erblestock for making great stuff

Awesome pack! Cinch straps make perfect for a quick day trip or a multi-day event. The pack sits comfortably even when fully loaded with over 60lbs of gear(I’m sure it will hold more), and the rainfly stow is such a convenient feature
