"I had the opportunity to test the Eberlestock Gunslinger backpack during a recent training exercise. For the exercise all sniper operational gear was necessary, to include binoculars, range finder, data book, ammo, camouflage clothing, etc..., as well as sustainment items such as food and water. This pack had ample room to accommodate all these items with the added benefit of being able to carry my sniper rifle as well.

During this exercise we were required to run a given distance with our gear and deploy from a set location. Having all my gear including my sniper rifle stowed securely in the Gunslinger backpack back made it easier to run and maneuver obstacles and upon arriving at the designated firing point all my gear was in one easily accessible location.

One look at this pack and you can tell the attention to detail that went into its design. From the heavy duty zippers, to the drainage and clean out system in the scabbard, this pack is loaded with features that place it in a league of its own. The design and padding in the shoulder and hip belt carry system make it extremely comfortable and secure to wear.

As a drag bag style pack it would have some definite limitations due to it's size and shape, but for those times when you need to move about on two feet and have all your gear with you in one secure location, this bag is it.

Eberlestock also makes other packs in this same general design offering larger load capacity and options such as a removable drag bag to accommodate an operator’s specific needs. If you are looking for a top quality pack Eberlestock's are definitely worth consideration."
