We've developed our Dry Earth color to work in the
broadest range of environments that our customers are going to be
working in. No color is always perfect, but this is closer than
anything we've ever seen. The first issue is that lighting plays a
great role in how a color looks in the field. The second is that
the background color scheme can vary depending upon the weather, and
conditions such as wet vs. dry ground. Our Dry Earth's name speaks
for itself; many of the world's conflicts are happening in dry places.
This color is as good as you can get for arid environments, and it is
outstanding anywhere else when the ground is dry. Capping it off,
it is a great all-around color for urban environments, blending in well
with concrete, old asphalt, and general urban grunge.
Above, you can see Dry Earth in the sunlight on a gravel
pad. The sunlight brings a little bronze out of the chameleon Dry
Earth. Scroll down to see it in various other environments.
This next picture is the perfect place to get you started:
Above: USMC-type Coyote Brown, currently our
most popular color, is what you see on the A2MP MultiPack on the left.
The F4M pack blends "just a little" better with the color of the soil.

colors in the field soon. Also take a look at our camouflage color

"We've developed UNICAM™ based on requests from our customers in the special
operations community. UNICAM, standing for universal camouflage,
is an excellent all-around pattern, designed to blend with moderate
amounts of shrubbery, and/or dry earth. Its primary colors are
tans, with just enough green and dark olive to provide pattern-breakup,
as a truly good camouflage should do." |
