Attaching Accessories with MALICE clips to Your Eberlestock Pack:

Your Eberlestock pack has a range of options for attaching accessories.  Our Padlock system is compatible with military PALS/MOLLE-type pouches.  We offer our own selection of matching accessories.  Some of these have integrated Padlock system attachment straps, and all can be attached to various locations using Tactical Tailor's MALICE Clips.

Click here for instructions to attach a Padlock system-equipped pouch.

Follow these steps to attach an accessory pouch with a MALICE Clip:

1.  Run  2 clips from the bottom upward through three web cells on the pack. 2.  Run each of the clips through the upper row of Padlock webbing on the pouch. 3.  Run the clips back through the middle row on the pack.  Then run through the second row down on the pouch. 4.  Run the clip outside of the bottom row on the pack, and insert it into the socket on the bottom of the clip, until it locks.
Note that in attaching the A2AP above, we only used the top two rows of webbing on the pouch.  That's OK; the pouch has three rows so that it can be attached in various ways to various things, and you don't necessarily need to use all of the rows.  Just use whatever is appropriate to the attachment point that you're using.
As another alternative, you can attach pouches to our waistbelts as shown at left.  Note that the 2" webbing strap can be run outside of the Padlock panel, and you can attach pistol holsters, pouches, etc. to it.  Just take everything apart, run the 2" strap outside of the panel and through whatever you want to attach.  Then loop it back through the keeper strap on the end of the padded portion of the belt, and route it back through the belt's buckle... and that's all there is to it.

A Side Scabbard attaches slightly differently; it works best to start by putting the clips onto the scabbard (the opposite of the way we attach our pouches to the pack):

1.  Run two clips through the upper three rows of the Padlock matrix on the scabbard, as shown. 2.  Run the clips through the top row on the pack, then back through the middle row on the scabbard, then back through the next row on the pack, etc., and finish as shown for the pouches above. 3.  Run a third clip up through the bottom three rows on the scabbard, and then interlock it with the pack.  Note that you can offset the bottom clip in order to induce a cant to the mounting of the scabbard.

4.  You can use the compression straps on the Just One or the Gunslinger packs to further stabilize a side scabbard.
You can be creative with ways to attach pouches where you might want to have access to certain things.  For example, you might want to carry binoculars in an A2AP, and mount it to the sternum strap on your pack's harness.  You can rotate it 90 degrees and do it without clips, as shown at left, or use clips to hook it onto the webbing of the shoulder strap and/or sternum strap...
